About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Manager to join our team at Lorven Technologies. As a Data Insights Manager, you will be responsible for extracting data from various sources, such as relational databases, EDW, and Foundry, to use in analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extracting data from diverse sources for analytical purposes
  • Engaging with operational business stakeholders to identify key initiatives and execute solutions to business problems using data analysis and advanced analytics
  • Performing quality assurance of reporting and dashboard deliverables to ensure the quality of both data and analysis
  • Collaborating with teams to align business requirements with data and analytical solutions while empowering businesses to draw insights and analyze data
  • Coordinating requirement gathering, playing an active role in the discovery, analysis, value validation, design, and testing phases
  • Ideating with functional analysts and business process owners
  • Monitoring changes in business, making recommendations where analytics can further improve business
  • Creating Tableau-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Documenting development for peer reference and knowledge transfer
  • Proposing solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 7 years of preferred experience, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Experience in a matrix structure and communicating with technical and non-technical people
  • The ability to develop and deliver presentations that simplify complex solutions/insights for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent innovation, interpersonal, and communication skills required
  • At least 5 years of work experience in an analytical role
  • Extensive experience with SAS development, including using SAS/Macro, Data Step, and SAS/Access. Experience in Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner / SAS Data Mining procedures a plus
  • Strong SQL skills and Tableau development experience
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team, mentoring and training the client on the various tools and techniques to build a complete Analytics solution
  • Experience with Jira in managing tasks and a good understanding of the Agile process
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and take the initiative to learn new tools quickly
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Leadership qualities, with forward-thinking

Desired Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Tableau dashboard design and development
  • Quality assurance and validation experience, specifically comparing multiple data sources for discrepancies and inconsistencies

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
