Clinical Dietitian II

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our Outpatient Nutrition Services team at UNC Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess nutritional needs and develop personalized nutrition care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate nutrition-focused medical care and ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Apply the Nutrition Care Process to identify, diagnose, and treat malnutrition and other nutrition-related disorders.
- Develop and implement nutrition education programs to promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field and completion of a Coordinated Program in Dietetics or Dietetic Internship accredited by ACEND.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification and licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) in North Carolina.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an RD, with 2 years in a clinical specialty area or 5 years of experience in a tertiary care setting.
