Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Office Nurse RN-Night Shift to join our team at Mass General Brigham in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for ensuring competent and compassionate care for our patients, collaborating with other healthcare providers to achieve optimal health outcomes, and continuously improving the patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide initial patient assessment and evaluation for walk-in patients, including triage and assessment via telephone or in-basket.
  • Perform phlebotomy, provide SQ/IM injections, and occasionally place peripheral intravenous lines for single-dose IV infusions.
  • Provide care and education to patients who are on HIV antiretrovirals, PrEP/PEP, and antimicrobial therapies.
  • Collaborate closely with the NP, Fellow, and/or Attending MD to coordinate and implement the comprehensive plan of care.
  • Work with the Community Health Worker team to coordinate outreach and follow-up for patients living with HIV and to re-engage patients who have fallen out of care.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • New graduates must have a Bachelor's Degree (BSN).
  • Ambulatory Care Nursing experience preferred.
  • PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
  • Literacy in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole preferred.
  • Microsoft Office and Epic computer literacy preferred.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as employee assistance programs.
