About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Superintendent to join our team at Worthington Enterprises Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the company's culture by fostering strong relationships and open communication with the team, focusing on safety and a people-first mindset.
  • Be accountable for Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Cost Leadership, and Productivity within the operation.
  • Plan for the annual budget, set facility goals and objectives that cascade with corporate initiatives, and focus on the development of people and overall retention to secure growth in our business.
  • Build a team to execute operational objectives, drive transformation, and work in collaboration with quality, scheduling, engineering, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of company policies, safety rules, and procedures with the ability to enforce all in alignment with Our Philosophy.
  • Above-average business and financial acumen with knowledge to drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment and manage others to achieve required company and plant goals.
  • Continuous involvement with WI Leadership Training.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of and drives transformational practices.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to coach, assess, evaluate, develop, motivate, and empower others.
  • Ability to function effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong change management skills to challenge the status quo.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members to reach their full potential utilizing leadership skills.
