Adjunct Professor of Medical Assisting

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor to teach Medical Assisting courses at Collin College. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering coursework in a engaging and innovative manner, reflecting the college's core values and teaching field.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow approved course descriptions and syllabi.
- Deliver instruction in a variety of settings, including on-campus and off-site locations, and may include evening and weekend programs.
- Meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures.
- Associate degree with a minimum of three years experience in direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
- Current certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant, Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or other healthcare professional who provides direct patient care.
- Current Medical Assisting Certification in one of the following credentials: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA), or CMAC (AMCA).
