Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity to join our team at Collin College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in cybersecurity and related fields, as well as contributing to the development of our cybersecurity program.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in cybersecurity and related fields, including introductory and advanced courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the industry
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our cybersecurity program
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote student success and retention
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Academic preparation in the teaching field, including 18 semester hours in the discipline to be taught
  • Teaching experience is desired, but not required
  • Licenses and certifications in cybersecurity are desired, but not required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current industry certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, GIAC, or GPEN
  • Security association membership and activities
