Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Diagnostic Medical Sonography to join our team at Collin College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and contributing to the development of our program.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, including lectures, labs, and clinical rotations.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to ensure students meet the program's learning objectives.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and the program director.
  • Participate in program evaluation and accreditation processes.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Teaching experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, with a variable schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations.
