Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team as a School Nursing Professional.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to provide continuous care to a medically fragile patient in the school setting. As a School Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for implementing the physician's prescribed plan of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician's prescribed plan of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in system of record
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
  • Assist patients with travel to and from school
Requirements
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Fingerprinting may be required
