Position Overview

The Cardiac Care Nursing Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions in both outpatient and inpatient environments. This role involves assessing, treating, and managing the care of patients, including adults and seniors, in accordance with the nursing process and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans based on patient data, considering various aspects of patient health including cognitive, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care activities, fostering a collegial environment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing practice and patient care.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Experience in cardiology or intensive care nursing.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
