About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Special Education Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide support to children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one instruction and support to children with special needs, focusing on academic, behavioral, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of client sessions and activities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a therapeutic or educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as needed.
