About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Peak Potential Therapy. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to children with special needs, helping them to develop essential skills and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote social, cognitive, and communication skills in children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs) to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one instruction and support to children in a variety of settings, including clinics, homes, schools, and communities.
  • Collect and record data on client progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform treatment planning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA and related fields.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education) preferred.
  • RBT certification required; training provided for those who do not already hold certification.
  • BCI and FBI background checks required.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
