Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Peak Potential Therapy LLC.

As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work one-on-one with children and young adults with special needs, providing academic, behavioral, and emotional support under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Our programming is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and we require all our staff to be trained in these principles. You will be responsible for implementing ABA programs, taking data, and working with the BCBA to progress client skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Prompting safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors
  • Working with others to improve service delivery
  • Completing parent communication and advising parents and teachers on program implementation
  • Preparing individual activity schedules and writing client session notes
  • Cleaning and disinfecting work areas and common areas
  • Participating in required supervision and maintaining RBT supervision documents

Qualifications include:

  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of college education
  • Required: BCI and FBI background checks
  • Required: RBT certification
  • Required: CPR certificate within 30 days of hire

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, day shifts, Monday to Friday, weekend availability
