Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Distributor to join our team in Duncan, SC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for operating the tack truck, assisting with shoveling and other tasks, and maintaining the truck in a clean and safe condition.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the tack truck and shoot tack on road within specifications
  • Assist the crew with shoveling and other tasks when the tack truck is not in use
  • Maintain the truck in a clean and safe condition
  • Heat tank prior to starting work
  • Set string line on edges of road if needed
  • Drive in a safe and consistent manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar field
  • Valid Class A or B CDL (Tanker Endorsement) and good driving record
  • Must adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Reeves Construction Company safety regulations
  • High school education, GED or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in and around construction equipment
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The noise level is usually very loud.
