Asphalt Distributor

We are seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Distributor / Tack Truck Driver to join our team in Duncan, SC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for operating the tack truck, assisting with shoveling and other tasks, and maintaining the truck in a clean and safe condition.

• Operate the tack truck with precision and accuracy
• Assist the crew with shoveling and other tasks when the tack truck is not in use
• Maintain the truck in a clean and safe condition
• Heat the tank prior to starting work
• Shoot tack on the road within specifications
• Set string lines on the edges of the road if needed
• Work nights and weekends as required
• Drive safely and consistently

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Valid Class A or B CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and a good driving record
• Must adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Reeves Construction Company safety regulations
• High school education or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in and around construction equipment
• One or more years of experience in a similar field
• Ability to lift 45 pounds

The physical demands of this job include:

• Climbing onto and up and down a machine several times a day
• Sitting in a machine and operating it for several hours without stopping
• Withstanding vibration from job site conditions and noise from other equipment
• Using arms, hands, and feet in repetitive motions
