Peraton is seeking a highly experienced Subcontracts Director to lead our team of subcontracts management professionals and provide primary leadership supporting one of our largest sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide leadership of the sector subcontracts function for the full life cycle of subcontract management activities, including proposal support, negotiations, and subcontract administration.
  • Partner with sector teams to develop strategies for competitions, negotiations, and managing subcontractor performance.
  • Oversee and manage overall subcontract compliance for programs within the sector, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Improve productivity, optimize cost-efficiency, and align with sector and subcontract strategies to optimize value and support change management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate closely with sector leaders to ensure subcontracting activities are carried out in a manner consistent with prime contract requirements and operational objectives.
  • Manage subcontracts professionals in executing day-to-day activities, providing training, conducting performance reviews, and establishing developmental actions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, plus a minimum of 12 years of related work experience, or Master's degree with 10 years of experience.
  • Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance and willingness/ability to be processed for additional agency-specific clearances.
  • Strong background in federal government subcontracting, including federal acquisition process and regulations.
  • Business acumen with ability to think critically and develop creative and practical solutions.
  • Strong negotiation background and attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable to change and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
