Operations Manager Job Description

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional member experience at Crunch Fitness. This individual will oversee the smooth operation of the front desk and related departments, ensuring seamless service delivery and a welcoming atmosphere for members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in achieving financial targets by motivating and leading employees to provide excellent service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees and members.
  • Recruit and hire high-caliber staff to support the team.
  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to members.
  • Serve as the lead customer service contact for members at the front desk.
  • Resolve member complaints in a timely and tactful manner.
  • Assist in the staffing, training, and performance management of Front Desk employees.
  • Ensure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security.
  • Support company programs and promotions to drive new sales leads and membership growth.
  • Lead and train staff on sales activities, including telephone inquiries and membership enrollments.
  • Ensure all promotions are effectively communicated to the team and other staff.
  • Provide an inspirational environment that welcomes honest feedback and fosters a quality working environment.
  • Support personnel-related problems or difficulties by following club procedure and documentation.
  • Encourage staff to work as a team and be productive.
  • Illustrate an ability to make decisions and serve as a role model for employees.
  • Implement and support company programs and promotions to drive new sales leads and membership growth.
  • Oversee expense goals by managing payroll and general and administrative expenses.
  • Ensure the club meets Crunch standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, security, and physical plant operations.
  • Keep current in knowledge of key competitors.
  • Conduct frequent facility walkthroughs.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Bilingual a major bonus.
