Job Summary

The Surgical Technician is a vital member of our perioperative team, responsible for providing technical support during surgical procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical techniques, instrumentation, and patient safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field
  • Handle and process surgical instruments and equipment
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a surgical or perioperative role
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
