Surgical Technologist

The Surgical Technician is a vital member of the perioperative team, responsible for providing technical support during surgical procedures. This role requires a high level of skill, knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field
- Handle and process surgical instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient procedure
- Participate in indirect patient care activities, such as cart stocking and case cart completion
- Graduate from an approved surgical technician program
- Experience in a labor and delivery hospital setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Basic knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
