Surgical Technician

The Surgical Technician is a vital member of the perioperative team, responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field
- Handle and process surgical instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
- 1-3 years of experience in a surgical setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
