Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Parts Department, providing exceptional customer service, and achieving sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Parts Department team, promoting a culture of teamwork, customer responsiveness, and profitable decision-making.
- Develop and implement effective Parts Department processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in parts counter tickets and tracking of lost sales.
- Ensure proper parts stocking levels to maximize customer satisfaction and optimize company resources.
- Work closely with other stores to maximize company resources and achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Execute day-to-day objectives to meet or exceed annual Parts Department goals and budget, aligning with the organization's financial and operational objectives.
- Develop and execute a Parts Department marketing plan, monitoring progress to ensure achievement of departmental goals.
- Conduct regular physical inventory of all parts and related inventories, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Submit all parts warranty and return claims within the required timeframe to maximize credit.
- Review customer receivables and ensure Parts Department employees adhere to company accounts receivable and collections policies.
- Maintain all department tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
- Provide exceptional customer service to mechanics and parts customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Parts Department operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Diesel or Transport Industries.
- Must be over 21 years of age and possess a current and acceptable, valid Driver's License to drive for the company.
- Good understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations.
Sonsray Inc offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 annually, plus incentive. We also provide a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with competitive contributions, and annual vacation time.
