The Manager of Cash Management and Collection oversees the administration of cash flow, receivables, and financial reporting related to sponsored funds. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal regulations and the proper management of letters of credit associated with sponsored awards. Responsibilities include accurate cash reporting to federal sponsors and meticulous documentation within the University's Financial System (GMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the accounts receivable for sponsored projects to ensure timely collection of outstanding funds.
  • Serve as a resource for financial analysts and campus finance teams, providing insights on cash receipts and operational responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and customer service objectives while managing special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; preference for candidates with an MBA.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in grants and contracts management.
  • Familiarity with federal Letter of Credit processes and reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage staff effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and understanding of research administration processes.
  • Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and federal agency accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Mode: Hybrid

Compensation: $54,000 - $100,493.33
