Position Overview:


NextPit GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Test Engineering Supervisor to support the enhancement of our testing capabilities, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and delivering exceptional results.

The primary goal of this role is to oversee modernization initiatives and digital transformation projects that will facilitate the advancement of our testing processes and methodologies.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the creation of comprehensive test and evaluation master planning documents that inform the team and establish a strategic testing framework for the success of our projects.
  • Develop, design, and implement innovative testing methodologies and equipment.
  • Organize and coordinate the workforce, timelines, and resources necessary for testing and evaluating both standard and specialized devices.
  • Manage a geographically dispersed testing team across multiple locations.
  • Provide the testing area with specifications for sample testing and outline the tests to be conducted.
  • Analyze data and identify necessary modifications in testing equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Ensure thorough testing of all customer samples and oversee special tests that cannot be conducted in the standard testing environment.
  • Apply advanced technical principles and contribute to the development of innovative concepts and solutions.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges and devise highly creative and effective solutions.
  • Proactively determine and pursue necessary actions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Foster the development of advanced technological ideas and guide their evolution into final products.
  • Support analysis and simulation efforts to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Execute test planning, execution, and closure for requirement verification.
  • Assist the proposal team in estimating test tasks, resources, durations, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to set expectations and monitor subcontractor performance.
  • Prepare and deliver test presentations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Liaise with customer representatives regarding testing and other necessary tasks.

Qualifications:

Required Education:


Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; Master's degree with twelve (12) years of experience; PhD or JD with nine (9) years of experience.


Required Experience:
Proven leadership in managing a test team.
Experience with system selloff to government clients.
Familiarity with test method rationale, assignment, and verification.
Knowledge of hardware and software testing methods and best practices.
Understanding of automated software testing techniques and standards.

Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain. U.S. Citizenship required.

Target Salary Range:
$160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
