Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Maintain cleanliness of designated patient rooms and restrooms following Infection Control protocols.
  • Ensure cleanliness of nursing stations, public restrooms, lounges, nourishment areas, storage closets, and windows.
  • Perform cleaning duties in all patient care areas, hallways, lobbies, and office environments.
  • Execute various cleaning tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and sanitation of equipment within the department.
  • Conduct floor care tasks including dry mopping, wet mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
  • Manage waste disposal, including the operation of trash compactors.
  • Participate as a member of the Code Red Response Team, including the retrieval of fire extinguishers.
  • Maintain the exterior of the facility, including the management of smoking receptacles.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support other hospital areas as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Prerequisites:
