Biomedical Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team at Froedtert Health. As a key member of our biomedical engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of basic patient care equipment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the installation, calibration, inspection, and maintenance of medical equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on basic patient care equipment
- Collaborate with biomedical engineers to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Document and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technology and equipment
- 3 years of related experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment
- Associate degree in Biomedical or Electrical Technology or equivalent military training
- Familiarity with medical technology and specialized training in medical technology service and support
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
