Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Installer to join our team at OmniOn Power. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining DC power systems, ensuring the reliability and protection of our customers' electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain DC power systems, including wiring and connections.
  • Perform weekly tool inventory and submit MOP (Method of Procedure) and JIM (Job Information Memorandum) reports.
  • Responsible for timesheet management, safety adherence, and jobsite housekeeping.
  • Lead small to medium-sized service projects and ensure on-time completion and quality of installations.
  • Assist Level IV Technician on lead verification (voltage) and support installation, commissioning of wireless, datacenter, and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Three years of experience in Telecom DC power equipment installation
  • Two years of experience in pulling & sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mounting
  • Valid driver's license
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
  • Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time
  • Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove lb. batteries.
  • Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.
  • Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time
  • Continuous standing
  • Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level
  • Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping
  • Frequently crouching or squatting
  • Be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold.
