As a Learning and Development Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the learning and development strategy for our organization, designing and delivering programs that drive business results and enhance employee engagement.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning and Development Manager, where you will be responsible for:

  • Benchmarking the learning function against industry standards
  • Designing and delivering learning programs that address performance gaps and management competencies
  • Marketing the learning function's programs and initiatives
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives
  • Managing an annual budget for training programs and learning resources

You will work closely with our hotel management teams to identify performance gaps and advise on actions to address them. You will also partner with our People and Culture team to ensure compliance and safety training is up-to-date and effective.

What You Will Do

As a Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and facilitating Embark for all new employees
  • Managing and facilitating core programs, including Service Foundations, Introduction to Leadership Behaviors, NLO, GROW, and annual compliance requirements
  • Ensuring new managers complete their 90-day probationary period through the New Leader Orientation program
  • Coaching managers to ensure necessary training and learning is conducted in departments on a consistent basis
What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a managerial capacity
  • Experience in adult education or a similar environment
  • Experience in hotel operations, preferably luxury hospitality or other service environments
  • Experience managing in diverse cultures and required to have a university degree or equivalent experience
