Job Summary


As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and fabricated parts using various tools and equipment in the production of slot cabinets.


Key Responsibilities


- Interpret and follow technical documentation, including build guides, blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings, to accurately assemble mechanical components and products.

- Execute assembly tasks proficiently at various mechanical assembly and sub-assembly stations.

- Conduct calibration tests on parts and mechanisms to ensure tolerance levels and quality; identify and repair any units that fail quality checks.

- Plan and perform work based on experience and judgment, with guidance as needed.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.

- Assist in other areas of production as required.

- Help train new assembly team members.

- Carry out additional duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED.

- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.

- Proficient in using hand tools (e.g., drills, wrenches, screwdrivers).

- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.

- Strong attendance record.

- Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are mandatory.

Physical Requirements
