Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at GPAC. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the labor, materials, and production of electrical projects. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and monitor work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
  • Material Management: Estimate and order materials, evaluate worker requirements, and ensure that all necessary resources are available to complete projects.
  • Communication: Collaborate with managerial and technical personnel, other departments, and contractors to resolve problems, coordinate activities, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting: Record and maintain accurate information on personnel, production, and operational data, providing regular reports to management as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management, supervision, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Certifications: Current electrician's license or identification card, as required by local regulations.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, requiring regular working hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
