As a Field Service Technician IV, you will deliver exceptional support to our clients, leveraging your extensive knowledge of Canon products and your technical acumen.



Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established protocols.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment to meet Canon's standards.
  • Compile reports analyzing product failure trends and serviceability issues, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Exceed customer expectations by providing timely and accurate maintenance services.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of technical information, service reports, and Canon assets while mentoring junior engineers.
  • Address escalated technical and customer service issues as needed.
  • Develop a deep understanding of multiple product lines, mastering troubleshooting and diagnostics to enhance customer satisfaction.


About You: Skills & Qualifications

This role involves direct interaction with customers and adherence to their policies, which may include health and safety measures.

We seek a dedicated professional who possesses:

  • A combination of general education and vocational training, along with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience as a field technician.
  • The ability to meet or exceed performance standards for technical quality and customer satisfaction.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • The capability to thrive in a 24/7 work environment, including shift work and on-call responsibilities.
  • The initiative to obtain necessary security clearances to access customer sites.
  • The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
