Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our team at TRAX International. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of assigned contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit reports relative to contract requirements in detail, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Participate as the primary contractor working-level interface with counterparts for all budget, contract administration, and accounting-related issues.
  • Responsible to the Program Manager for overall administration of the financial aspects of the contract.
  • Establish and document all contract-related policies and procedures reflecting operational responsibilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external audit agencies.
  • Direct the implementation of corporate and contract personnel policies.
  • Enter A/P in Costpoint, which involves voucher creation and system entry.
  • Reconcile the monthly corporate credit card statements.
  • Prepare the monthly Cost Report and serve as the primary point of contact with Government for any associated questions.
  • Process bi-weekly cost voucher and billing in Costpoint and submit to Government financial system.
  • Review, approve, and log new Purchase Requisitions.
  • Process the weekly AMMS AJE or similar required reports into Costpoint.
  • Audit weekly payroll reports for labor processing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or another related field is required.
  • 10+ years' experience of progressively responsible experience in program control, finance, and business data processing.
  • Experience in government contract administration and knowledge of the FAR preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a top priority.
  • Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution.
  • Advanced skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Qualifications
  • The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment and sometimes in the field where you are subject to the environment.
  • Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted.

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests, if contract required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance or contract designated clearance prior to employment and maintain said clearance for the duration of employment.
