Job Summary:

The IM Business Partner II serves as a key liaison between business units and the Information Management department, fostering a strong customer-facing relationship. This role involves identifying and documenting functional requirements, analyzing gaps in technical business needs, and developing solutions to address these gaps. The IMBP II collaborates with business leadership and stakeholders to define opportunities and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria, such as return on investment, productivity, compliance, and system standards. This position operates as a business contact, promoting IM services and capabilities, and focuses on strategic initiatives and planning activities for assigned business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solution roadmaps to ensure successful introductions across the organization and with customers
  • Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets for respective business areas
  • Work with stakeholders to develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments
  • Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed
  • Act as the key liaison across functional areas, including business units and the information management department
  • Anticipate and address gaps and overlaps within the systems portfolio
  • Participate in the timing of solutions introductions and withdrawals with IM, HI, and business stakeholders
  • Review and advise on the launch of solutions to maximize their positive impact on the organization
  • Identify, screen, and evaluate opportunities to address unmet internal and customer needs
  • Partner with key staff members to create strategic business plans
  • Utilize appropriate technologies to ensure customers have the solutions they need, when they need them, and in the manner best suited to their requirements
  • Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards and business needs
  • Lead field research efforts to uncover and prioritize opportunities for field research teams

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 – 3 years of experience
