Job Title: Applications Chemist II

Waters Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Applications Chemist II to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for product manufacturing, product verification, process improvements, technical support, and regulatory compliance for the ASR & ERA Product Line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production/Manufacturing of chemical solutions to specifications
  • Generation and review of production and customer-facing documentation
  • Assist other departments as needed, including packaging/labeling and shipping
  • Proficient in both bench-top analytical equipment and higher-level analytical instrumentation
  • Participating in and ownership of process improvements and writing/executing validations
  • Replying to customer-facing technical questions
  • Creating and presenting technical presentations and webinars
  • Initiating and updating SOPs, documenting non-conforming product (NCRs), completing OJTs/training
  • Conducting training for team members on manufacturing and/or analytical verification processes
  • Ensure that all products and data meet Quality Assurance requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred
  • 5+ years environmental laboratory-related work experience, analytical testing, or similar experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required; experience with SAP and/or Great Plains preferred but not required
  • Contribute towards driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and implement corrective actions
