Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator II to join our team at CoorsTek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the manufacture of technical ceramics and metals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Production Equipment: Safely operate multiple production machines and/or complex technical equipment to manufacture parts in compliance with work order instructions.
  • Inspect and Test Products: Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Transfer and Store Products: Transfer parts to the next process via computer software and store products in a clean and organized manner.
  • Load and Unload Products: Load, unload, stack, and transport products using hand-trucks, forklifts, cranes, or hoists.
  • Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Clean work areas, machines, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Train incoming operators on processes and procedures to ensure a smooth transition and high-quality production.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment: Wear required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary.
  • Experience: A minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Understand and act on verbal and/or written instructions, read and interpret standard and metric measurements, basic math skills, knowledge of handheld measuring equipment, and excellent attention to detail and listening skills.

Compensation: Hourly: USD 20.04. Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills, and education.
