Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Urology Associates. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
    • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and medical histories
    • Prepare patients for exams and procedures
  • Clinical Support
    • Assist with laboratory tests, including specimen collection and processing
    • Perform EKGs and other diagnostic procedures
    • Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment
  • Administrative Support
    • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
    • Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
    • Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments
  • Quality Assurance
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Education
    • Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school
  • Experience
    • At least one year of current experience in a private practice or ambulatory setting
  • Certifications
    • Current MA certificate/diploma in the appropriate jurisdiction
    • Must be certified or able to take certification exam within six months of hire
Physical Requirements
  • Lift, push, and pull patients
  • Perform simple motor skills and manipulative skills
  • Perform gross body coordination
Travel Requirements

Requires some travel between clinics
