Risk Strategy and Transformation Senior Analyst

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Strategy and Transformation Senior Analyst to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing risk management strategies that drive business growth and minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the SVP Risk Strategy & Transformation to analyze and interpret information to support strategies and plans for growth.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and tracking mechanisms to ensure effective project management and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key strategic questions and issues, and manage implementation and reporting.
  • Support critical projects, identify necessary resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Lead projects and serve as a key member on others, establishing project plans, capturing status updates, and escalating obstacles to project sponsors.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and present data for use in executive summaries and presentations.
  • Provide formal and informal project management updates and assistance to aid in implementation.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size concurrently and keep all business stakeholders and team members apprised.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a project role.
  • Superior organizational, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • High capacity for work and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Able to learn and apply formal and informal project methodology and analytical tools.
  • Proficient with basic software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
  • Bias for action, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive nonpublic information.
  • Independent, high energy/enthusiasm, and ability to analyze/solve problems and identify opportunities.
  • Must be able to tactfully and diplomatically resolve conflicts among stakeholders and participants in all assigned projects.

Compensation

Starting base salary: $78,970 - $126,140 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
