Medical Director Opportunity

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our addiction medicine team in Lufkin and Center, Texas. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing medical care, training, and managing physician extenders, while ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to patients, including regular review and notes in patient records
  • Train and manage physician extenders, including implementation and enforcement of medical policies and procedures
  • Assist with development of clinical policies, procedures, and training
  • Correspond with regulatory personnel and accrediting bodies as necessary
  • Provide reports and data to the CEO and Medical Director OTP

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine or Primary Care
  • At least 1 year of Addiction Medicine and Primary Care experience
  • Current state license
  • Medicare/Medicaid
  • Ability to prescribe methadone and buprenorphine
  • Knowledge of Medical Assisted Treatment is preferred
  • Satisfactory drug screen and background check
