Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
  • Fundamental understanding of construction safety practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities, including facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Proven capability to influence at senior management levels
  • Self-motivated with the ability to initiate and follow through on work plans
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and advocate for proactive safety management strategies that align with our Operational Excellence goals. Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with field operations personnel to develop and execute EHS programs. Promote engagement in safety, health, and environmental initiatives.
  • Advise and enhance EHS systems, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with both internal and external regulatory standards, striving for a zero-incident safety culture across multiple facilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and audits to identify and address EH&S gaps. Develop actionable strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Deliver comprehensive EH&S training for employees at all levels, including mentoring and coaching for field management.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analyses of EH&S activities, performance metrics, and outcomes. Contribute to corporate EHS goal-setting and prepare documentation for regulatory audits.
  • Work autonomously to identify and eliminate safety hazards and prevent job-related injuries.
