Job Summary:
Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at our Redmond location. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with rooming patients, collecting vital signs, and performing point-of-care testing associated with asthma and allergy care.
- Conduct skin prick (scratch) and intradermal testing, patch testing, administer vaccines and allergy shots, and perform lung function testing (spirometry and FENO).
- Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
- Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless clinical operations.
Requirements:
- Current Washington State LPN or CMA license at the time of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support certification (CPR & First Aid cards).
- Self-motivation, empathy, and stellar interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.
- Enthusiasm and desire to participate as a team member and gain a variety of technical skills.
- A history of working in an outpatient setting, preferably in asthma/allergy, ENT, pediatric, or dermatology specialty offices.
