Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health care policy initiatives that promote free market-oriented solutions
  • Conduct research and analysis on health care policy issues, including federal health programs, health insurance, drug pricing, and public health
  • Collaborate with our communications team to develop and disseminate policy briefs, reports, and other materials
  • Manage and mentor a small team of health policy analysts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the health care policy field, including legislative committees, agencies, industry groups, and press

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in health care policy on Capitol Hill, a relevant agency, think tank, or commensurate experience
  • Graduate degree in healthcare policy, public policy, or communications; or commensurate experience
  • Strong writing, research, and data analysis skills
  • Firm grasp of health care policy
  • Experience working with staffers and elected officials at the state and federal level
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities with little notice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
