Position Overview:
This role is hosted by Jobot. We are looking for a highly qualified Project Manager to oversee various construction initiatives. This permanent position involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate detailed project plans that align client requirements with organizational objectives, coordinating with various managers and technical staff throughout all project stages.
  • Continuously monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on measurable outcomes, including milestones and deliverables.
  • Engage proactively with all stakeholders to provide support, identify challenges, devise solutions, and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Evaluate proposed changes to project plans, collaborating with relevant parties to approve and implement beneficial modifications.
  • Oversee the procurement of necessary resources and materials by liaising with clients, team members, management, and finance personnel.
  • Anticipate future project details through direct communication with clients and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Manage vendor and supplier contracts by assigning tasks and clarifying expected deliverables.
  • Utilize project management software to monitor project performance and adherence to schedules.
  • Conduct risk assessments for project activities and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of project management experience within the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience managing projects through their entire lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams.
  • Experience in contract management and budgeting processes.
  • Understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and health and safety standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
