Job Description

Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and management of complex space-related projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and risk management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and program management, to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including management and customers.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and risk registers.

Requirements:

  • Top Secret clearance
  • 3-7 years of professional experience in project planning or scheduling
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, such as MS Project
  • Experience with earned value management and schedule risk assessments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with resource-loaded schedules and schedule risk assessments
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
