Job Overview

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Inspector/Engineering Technician to join our team in Norcross, GA. As a key member of our Construction Materials Testing group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials on various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry mortar/grout to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications
  • Review blueprints and prepare for field observations on construction sites
  • Document field activities, observations, and testing results, and communicate with project stakeholders
  • Utilize field and laboratory information management systems to record testing results and collaborate with team members
  • Calibrate field and laboratory equipment to industry codes and standards
Requirements
  • Density testing and asphalt pavement testing experience, particularly in airport settings
  • RTT, QCT, ACI certification, or ICC (Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, etc.) a plus
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to travel for short-duration assignments within Georgia
