Senior Inspector/Engineering Technician

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Inspector/Engineering Technician to join our team in Norcross, GA. This role will involve field testing of construction materials, reviewing blueprints, and documenting testing results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry mortar/grout to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Review blueprints and prepare for field observations on construction sites
- Document field activities, observations, and testing results, and ensure conformance with project plans and specifications
- Use field and laboratory information management systems to record testing results
- Communicate testing results with project management staff, general contractors, and clients
- Calibrate field and laboratory equipment to industry codes and standards
Requirements:
- Density testing and asphalt pavement testing experience, particularly in airport settings
- RTT, QCT, ACI certification and/or ICC (Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, etc) are a plus
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to travel out-of-town for short duration assignments within the state of Georgia
