Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Review and approve vendor invoices, lease abstracts, and other financial documents.
- Prepare and process monthly financial statements, including cash basis and accrual basis reporting.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare audit packages for auditors and controllers.
- Assist in the review and analysis of corporate accounts receivable, including payroll reimbursements, management fees, and lease commissions.
- Prepare and submit written action plans for desk coverage during absences.
- University degree or college diploma in an accounting-related field of study.
- Minimum of 2+ years of commercial real estate experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Minimum of 1+ years of financial reporting experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and cope with changing priorities.
