Job Summary:

Virginia Peninsula Community College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Masonry Instructor to join our team. As a Non-Credit Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction, support, and assessment to our non-credit learners in the field of masonry.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in masonry courses
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Extensive work experience in masonry
  • Knowledge of masonry safety topics, tools, and equipment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated teaching and educational facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NCCER Masonry Certification
  • Prior teaching or training experience in a workplace or community/technical college setting
