Restaurant Manager Job Description

Bonefish Grill is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive success in our restaurants. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) functions, ensuring a seamless customer experience and exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Assist with staffing levels by scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring, while maintaining high employment quality standards aligned with the Bonefish Grill brand.
  • Employee Development: Actively participate in the career growth of hourly team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Security and Safety: Implement effective security protocols to ensure the ongoing safety of both employees and guests.
  • Compliance and Quality: Comply with operational, safety, and sanitation standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances; all health inspections meet required state standards.
  • Guest Experience: Respond to guest comments and build loyalty while setting the service standard for the restaurant.
  • Menu Knowledge: Have a working knowledge of the entire menu and preparation standards.
  • Community Engagement: Engage in community and market-related opportunities at the restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Experience: One (1) year previous restaurant management experience.
  • Schedule and Availability: Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule.
  • Age: Minimum age 21 years.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience: One (1) year previous experience in full-service (including bar) restaurant management.
  • Certification: Certification in food safety.
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate within the assigned region.
  • Software Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Compensation Range: $45,000 - $60,000 - with potential for bonus based on eligibility and other business factors.
