Position Summary

As a Construction Proposal Coordinator at Thermosystems, you will be tasked with overseeing the management of bid documentation from contractors, monitoring customer bidding activities, and dispatching quotes to clients. You will work closely with our sales teams, serving as the initial point of contact for quote inquiries related to HVAC projects, including new constructions, expansions, and renovations. Thermosystems is committed to providing a thorough training program for all new hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding new projects and quote requests
  • Examine direct email quote requests and customer sites for new opportunities and updates
  • Establish new projects and maintain records of customers and bid timelines in our internal ERP system
  • Upload all bid documents to Microsoft SharePoint
  • Analyze mechanical schedules in plans for equipment pricing
  • Inform sales teams about new projects and updates
  • Compile the weekly bid list for the sales team
  • Solicit quotes from other representatives for projects outside the Northern Illinois area
