Job Details:
- Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Specialist
- Job Location: Concord, MA
- Contract Duration: 13+ weeks
- Compensation: $50/hr
- Shift: Evenings - 3:00pm to 11:30pm
- Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 40 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- Certification: ASCP or equivalent required
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, receiving, labeling, and analyzing biological samples using appropriate testing instruments.
- Designing and conducting laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols, documenting observations, and interpreting results.
- Accurately recording all experimental data and test outcomes in the required format, whether written or electronic.
- Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and gases in compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhering to safety protocols consistently within the laboratory environment.
- Maintaining daily logs and equipment records meticulously.
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and calibrating laboratory instruments as necessary.
- Managing the procurement of laboratory supplies as required.
