Job Summary:
The Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the product development activities for multiple products, technical specialties, or processes. This includes integrating engines and airends, designing subsystems, and achieving quality, functionality, and competitive edge requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product development initiatives and collaborate with other functional areas to ensure continuous improvement in the product development process.
- Lead a small team of Engineers and Co-op Students, monitor project progress, and make necessary resource adjustments.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality, functionality, and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product development projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Education in Mechanical Engineering is required, with a preference for a Master's in Business Administration.
- Experience leading engineering teams and strong technical aptitude.
- Ability to influence innovation across multiple organizations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Travel Requirements: Minimal, less than 10%.
