As a Business Development Manager at Kooks Custom Headers and Exhaust, you will be responsible for managing proactive and strategic business development within our larger accounts. This involves identifying new leads with growth potential, handling inbound calls, and providing customers with accurate information about our products.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage exclusive brands and investigate similar opportunities in the industry.
  • Implement ways to partner with accounts and leverage their infrastructure and expertise to hit untapped markets.
  • Develop written technical materials to educate account employees and customers about our products.
  • Continuously improve processes to better serve the wholesale and account channel with accurate and updated product information, inventory, and potential value-added services or benefits.
  • Input orders utilizing internal ordering software systems.
  • Review customer purchase orders and communicate with customers to collect missing information, documentation, and approvals required to complete orders.
  • Gather market feedback from our distributor employees for potential product development opportunities.


Requirements:

After-market automotive sales knowledge & experience is required. Knowledge of high-performance domestic vehicles is also required. 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales role; experience with selling to key decision makers strongly preferred.



Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. Must have a commitment to excellent customer service. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess a professional, friendly, and positive attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Visual a plus. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Strong understanding of full sales process. Experience utilizing customer relationship management software (Salesforce, etc.)
